CCN is visiting the Getty Center in Los Angeles!  Explore the museum and see art from medieval to modern times; wander the Central Garden to enjoy water features and colorful landscaping; marvel at the unique architecture and city views from the hilltop.  Starting in March of 2027, the Center will be closed for a year-long renovation, so let's enjoy it while it is still open.  We have rented a bus to take us and pick us up so no one has to worry about the traffic.  The Center encourages visitors to download the GettyGuide app onto their phones before they visit.  Through it, you can plan your visit in advance, and you can access audio tours once you are on-site.  Please contact the CCN office if you need help setting that up.

Time:  Meet in LCR parking lot for 8:30 am bus departure; return to LCR by 3:30 pm

Cost:  Museum entrance is free, $25 fee for bus transportation

 

Lunch can be enjoyed at the Getty Center at your own expense.  We encourage you to bring water, sunscreen and a hat if you plan to spend time outside.
