Therapeutic Effects of Music Seminar

What is it about music that can calm us, move us, bring back memories, or make us feel less alone? In this presentation, we will explore how music can comfort the body, mind, and spirit. Through stories, simple science, reflections, and interactive moments, we will reflect on the healing power of music for both listeners and performers.  We welcome Dawn Lejarde, RN, PHN, MSN, MPH, NPD-BC, the new Program Manager at Hoag Faith Community Nursing to lead us in this program.

 

A catered lunch will be served at 11:30 am, followed by the presentation at 12:00 pm.  This is a free event and all are welcome!
